I hope the page provides enough information about the church to give you a flavor of our congregation, our mission, and the people. Good Shepherd is a "spiritually healthy church".
The people are excited to participate in the ministry of the church, open in their faith, and though proud to be Lutherans, not so stuck in tradition that the church would die by those famous last words of a dying church, "We've never done it this way before."
Since we do not have a history of being Danish, Swedish, or anything else, we are not particularly attached to one nationality. We are a mixture of folks, eager to welcome new members and visitors. The pride is centered on being a "Family of God," in this case, a family of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
We see God as Savior, Lord, Shepherd, and a best friend.
Please come and worship on a Sunday morning and see if Good Shepherd feels like a good fit. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me. If I am not in the office, I will return your call.
